Altea Resources is a global French Engineering Company specializing in the Upstream Oil & Gas area with a focus on Well Construction, Well Maintenance and Well Integrity. Incorporated in 2008, it now has 11 established and operational offices in seven countries. 

Rimas Oilfield Services has been providing expert personnel to the Libyan oil and gas market for over 10 years.

In 2018 Rimas Oilfield Services and Altea Resources created a Joint Venture where both partners will work together under the Rimas brand to compliment each others strengths to provide market leading solutions to the Libyan Oil & Gas market in terms of expert Technical Personnel, Well Intervention and Drilling Support Services such as Fishing, Slickline and Wireline. In addition our Procurement solutions enable Rimas to provide quality oil & gas equipment at a timely and cost effective price and one where all logistics are taken care of. We are also making available to the Libyan market Well Integrity solutions in partnership with ExproSoft and their market leading software WellMaster.

As well as support from Rimas in Libya further operational support is provided from Altea Resources’ Paris headquarters. Our teams cover many disciplines and many of the staff are Oil & Gas industry experts with 20+ years’ experience. Our reach is extensive, and our expertise covers both onshore and offshore operations.
